Learning Hub Coaches
If there is a day to day problem or a minor one, it is likely to be dealt with by your son’s/daughter’s Learning Coach. In most cases, this teacher will be their Learning Coach during their entire time at Morrinsville College. This is the person whom most parents should contact in the first instance if they have any concerns.
House Kaitiaki
The House Kaitiaki, whose main role is Pastoral Care (nurturing and ensuring that achievement, discipline and attendance are meeting expectations), is available to the student every day and is able to assist with information, advice and goal setting.
Academic Deans
All students can access a year-level Dean who will help them choose their courses of study, place students in the appropriate classes and is the person to approach if there are any academic concerns. Parents should usually contact the appropriate Dean if they have academic queries regarding their child.
